Job summary

Sunrise Community, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support/Day Program supervisor to provide supervision and support for individuals with developmental disabilities in our Day Program setting. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaborative care planning.

The position requires driving responsibilities, a valid driver’s license, and experience in human services with supervisory duties. Great opportunity for growth within a not-for-profit community-focused organization in Florida.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with endorsements and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years of experience in the human service field and two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides support and supervision to staff and individuals in Day Program settings.
• Maintains a positive, supportive environment for staff and individuals.
• Ensures accurate billing and staffing for daily revenue.
• Ensures training, support and behavior plans are implemented and documented as required by individual plans and regulatory agencies.
• Monitors safety and accountability of all on-site staff, individuals, and transport.
• Provides constructive feedback to employees through mentoring and role modeling.
