Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network seeks a Day Program Instructor Caregiver in West Covina, CA to support adults with developmental disabilities. You will promote daily living skills, independence, and meaningful activities, following each client’s IPP.

You will assist with personal care, meals, transportation, and community participation, while documenting progress and attending trainings. This is a full-time, in-person role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (background check, etc.).
• DSP Year 1/Year 2 certificates preferred; CPI, First Aid/CPR certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Promote daily living, vocational, independence, and active engagement.
• Develop and follow daily activity routines based on IPP for each client.
• Assist with personal care, meals, and transportation as needed.
• Support clients in daily living, vocational, recreational and community activities.
• Document notes and review IPP goals; communicate progress to supervisors.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing trainings.
