Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Day Program Instructor Caregiver in West Covina, CA to support adults with developmental disabilities in building skills, independence, and daily routines.

You will develop IPP-based activities, assist with personal care and meals, provide transportation, and participate in assessments and planning. This is a full-time role with benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings (background check, etc.).
• Preferred: 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
• Preferred: CPI certification, First Aid / CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily activity routines based on each client’s IPP.
• Assist with personal care, bathroom needs, and changing clothing when needed.
• Prepare meals and participate in cleanup.
• Support clients in daily living, vocational, recreational, and community activities.
• Provide transportation in company vans as needed.
• Participate in client assessments, planning, and evaluation.
• Enter client notes into computer systems and review IPP goals.
• Communicate with supervisors about client progress.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development.
