Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Day Program Instructor Caregiver in West Covina, CA. You will support adults with developmental disabilities in daily living, vocational, and community activities, helping them gain independence and confidence.

Responsibilities include IPP-based routines, personal care, meals, transportation, and collaboration with the team. Requires pre-employment screenings; certifications may be earned within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings (background check, etc.).
• Certifications may be obtained within the first 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow daily activity routines based on each client's IPP.
• Assist with personal care, bathroom needs, and clothing changes when needed.
• Prepare meals and participate in cleanup.
• Support clients in daily living, vocational, recreational, and community activities.
• Provide transportation in company vans as needed.
• Participate in client assessments, planning, and evaluation.
• Enter client notes into computer systems and review IPP goals.
• Communicate with supervisors about client progress.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
