Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is hiring a Day Program Instructor Caregiver in West Covina, CA. You will help adults with developmental disabilities build daily living, vocational, and social skills, guiding them toward independence and meaningful routines.

You will develop IPP-based activities, assist with personal care, meals, and transportation, and participate in assessments and documentation to track progress. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
• Preferred: DSP Year 1/Year 2 Certificates, CPI, and First Aid/CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow daily activity routines based on IPP.
• Assist with personal care, meals, and daily living activities.
• Support clients in vocational, recreational, and community activities.
• Provide transportation in company vans as needed and document progress.
• Participate in client assessments, planning, and evaluation.

Skills

Experience with adults with DD

Education

Valid California Driver’s License

DSP Year 1/Year 2 Certificates (preferred)

CPI certification (preferred)

First Aid / CPR Certification (preferred)
