Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Day Program Instructor to support the Washington area and surrounding community.

The role involves assisting program activities, monitoring clients, and maintaining a safe environment, with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday 7:30 to 3:30 and weekends off. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, CPI certification, First Aid/CPR or the ability to obtain, and a valid driver’s license with travel willingness.

Qualifications

• CPI certification required or to be obtained.
• First aid and CPR certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Current driver's license with ability to travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Supervisor/Instructor/Program Specialist in carrying out program activities.
• Observe and report client performance in various situations and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Coordinate with team to ensure timely delivery of services and maintain program quality.

Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Day Program Instructor in the Washington area.

Position Summary:

An entry level position responsible for assisting the Senior Supervisor/Coordinator/Instructor/Program Specialist in carrying out program activities, observing and reporting performance of clients in a variety of situations, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

This full-time position works Monday through Friday 7:30 to 3:30 with weekends off!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Obtain and maintain certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
• First aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain and maintain within six (6) months of hire date.
• Current driver's license with the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle.

Preferred:

• One-year experience working with individuals in human services field.
• Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators Certificate (ACRE).
• Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP).
• Associates Degree and six months to one-year experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
