Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. in Beaver, PA is seeking a Day Program Instructor to join our full-time team.

The role supports clients daily, assisting the Senior Supervisor and program staff in activities and maintaining a safe, respectful environment. This entry-level position runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 3:30 with weekends off, and requires a high school diploma or GED, CPI certification, CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver's license willing to travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPI certification must be obtained and maintained.
• First aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Current driver’s license with ability to travel for business using personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Supervisor/Coordinator/Instructor/Program Specialist in carrying out program activities.
• Observe and report performance of clients in various situations.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.

Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Day Program Instructor in the Beaver area.

Position Summary:

An entry level position responsible for assisting the Senior Supervisor/Coordinator/Instructor/Program Specialist in carrying out program activities, observing and reporting performance of clients in a variety of situations, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

This full-time position works Monday through Friday 7:30 to 3:30 with weekends off!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Obtain and maintain certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
• First aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain and maintain within six (6) months of hire date.
• Current driver’s license with the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle.

Preferred:

• One-year experience working with individuals in human services field.
• Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators Certificate (ACRE).
• Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP).
• Associates Degree and six months to one-year experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
