Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in West Covina, CA is hiring an Instructor Caregiver for our Day Program site. You will help adults with developmental disabilities develop daily living and vocational skills in a compassionate, patient environment.

The role is full-time, in-person, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with competitive pay of $18.00 to $19.00 per hour and benefits including HSA, EAP, PTO and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must be 21 years old and pass pre-employment screenings.
• DSP Year 1/2, CPI, and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred or can be earned within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow daily activity routines per IPP.
• Support daily living, meals, transportation when needed.
• Assist with personal care and documentation in systems.
• Participate in assessments, planning, and staff meetings.
