Job summary

Lifesteps in Butler, PA is seeking a Part-Time Activities (Resident Engagement) Coordinator for Seniors to plan and coordinate therapeutic activities for Adult Day Health Services participants. The role includes direct client care, observing and reporting progress, and supporting staff in service delivery. Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–6:00pm; 27.5 hours/week.

• Two years’ experience in the human services field working with aging and functionally disabled adults.
• Must possess a valid driver's license which legally permits operating a motor vehicle in Pennsylvania.

• Provide direct client care, observe and report participants’ performance, assist staff with service delivery.
• Assume Supervisor responsibilities in the Supervisor’s absence.

Position Summary:

The Resident Engagement Coordinator, ADHS is responsible for planning and coordinating therapeutic activities that meet Adult Day Health Services participants’ needs and preferences. The Activities Coordinator, ADHS provides direct client care, observes and reports participants’ performance, assists staff with various aspects of service and delivery and assumes the responsibilities of the Supervisor in the Supervisor’s absence.

This part-time position works a schedule of Monday - Friday, 27.5 hours per week 12:00pm - 6:00pm. No Evenings, No weekends. No Holidays!

QUALIFICATIONS:
