Lifesteps, Inc. in Butler area is hiring a Part-Time Activities (Resident Engagement) Coordinator for Seniors. The role plans and coordinates therapeutic activities for Adult Day Health Services participants and provides direct client care, observing and reporting on participants' progress.

The position assists staff with service delivery and steps in for the Supervisor when needed, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, totaling 27.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Recreational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field.
• Two years’ experience in human services with aging and functionally disabled adults.
• Valid PA driver’s license permitting operation of a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate therapeutic activities for Adult Day Health Services participants.
• Provide direct client care, observe and report participant performance.
• Assist staff with service delivery and act as Supervisor in their absence.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–6:00pm; 27.5 hours weekly.
