Job summary

LOT Commercial Property Services is seeking a Full-Time Day Porter to keep our commercial properties clean, welcoming, and safe for tenants and visitors. You’ll be the friendly face on site, handling routine cleaning, trash pickup, restroom upkeep, and light exterior cleaning.

Reliability and independence are essential. Strong English or Spanish communication helps you connect with teams and clients daily. Prior janitorial or porter experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong communicator in English or Spanish (spoken and written).
• Familiar with using a mobile device regularly for time keeping and document review.
• Enjoys providing friendly customer service.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high‑traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills.
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti.
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor.
• Always use required safety equipment.

Location: Commercial Property Site

Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift

Pay: $18.47 per hour, Paid Weekly

What You’ll Do

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces
• Clean restrooms and high‑traffic areas
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti

Requirements

• Familiar with using a mobile device (such as cell phone or tablet) regularly for time keeping and document review
• Enjoys providing friendly customer service
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
• Comfortable working independently
• Physically active and enjoy being on your feet outdoors
• Experienced in janitorial, custodial, or porter work (preferred—but not required!)

Physical Requirements

• On your feet throughout the shift
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking up stairs and on large properties regularly
