LOT Commercial Property Services is hiring a Weekend Day Porter in Santa Barbara, CA. This part-time role runs Saturdays and Sundays, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, at 3943 State St., with an $18.00 hourly rate and weekly pay.

The position focuses on keeping commercial spaces clean, welcoming, and well-maintained for business operations. Ideal candidates are fluent in English or Spanish, enjoy providing friendly service, and can work independently outdoors.

Qualifications

• English or Spanish bilingual with written and verbal proficiency.
• Comfortable using a mobile device for timekeeping and document review.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and sills.
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, graffiti.
• Walk the property to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Wear all required safety equipment.

What You’ll Do

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness
• Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor
• Always use required safety equipment (we’ve got you covered!)

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Physical Requirements

• On your feet throughout the shift
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking stairs and large properties regularly
