Job summary

LOT Commercial Property Services in San Diego is hiring a Full-Time Day Porter to keep commercial properties clean and welcoming. You will patrol sites, perform light maintenance tasks, and report needs to your supervisor while ensuring safety and reliability.

The schedule is daytime, with consistent shifts and weekly pay at $18.25 per hour. We value punctual, customer-focused team members who are comfortable working outdoors and fluent in English or Spanish.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and sills.
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, graffiti.
• Walk the property to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to supervisor.
• Always use required safety equipment.

Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 6 am-2:30 pm, Saturday & Sunday 8 am- 12 pm (Monday & Tuesday OFF)
Pay: $18.25 per hour, Paid Weekly

What You’ll Do

As a Day Porter, you’ll be the eyes and ears of the property, making sure everything looks its best:

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness
• Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor
• Always use required safety equipment (we’ve got you covered!)

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you are:

• A strong communicator in English or Spanish – both written and verbal
• Familiar with using a mobile device (such as a cell phone or tablet) regularly for timekeeping and document review
• Enjoys providing friendly customer service
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently
• Physically active and enjoy being on your feet outdoors
• Experienced in janitorial, custodial, or porter work (preferred—but not required!)

Physical Requirements:

• On your feet throughout the shift
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking up stairs and on large properties regularly
