Job summary

LOT Commercial Property Services in West Hills, CA, is seeking a Weekend Day Porter to keep properties clean, welcoming, and ready for business. You’ll patrol sites, pick up trash, sweep, mop, and help maintain restrooms while following safety rules.

This part-time weekend role runs Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, pays $18.47 per hour with weekly direct deposit. English or Spanish communication, reliability, and comfort working outdoors are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate in English or Spanish.
• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or porter work preferred.
• Physically active and comfortable outdoors.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills.
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti.
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor.
• Always use required safety equipment (we've got you covered!).

What You'll Do

As a Day Porter, you'll be the eyes and ears of the property, making sure everything looks its best:

Requirements

• What We're Looking For

You Might Be a Great Fit If You Are

• A strong communicator in English or Spanish - both written and verbal
• Familiar with using a mobile device (such as a cell phone or tablet) regularly for time keeping and document review
• Enjoys providing friendly customer service
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently
• Physically active and enjoy being on your feet outdoors
• Experienced in janitorial, custodial, or porter work (preferred-but not required!)

Physical Requirements

• On your feet throughout the shift
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking stairs and large properties regularly
