Job summary

Owens Realty Services in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Day Porter to perform custodial duties across our facilities on a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shift. The position is full-time with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour, eligible for benefits as part of a 40-hour workweek.

The role involves cleaning approximately 4,500–5,000 sq ft per hour depending on location, mopping, dusting, restocking supplies, and reporting hazards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of related custodial experience preferred.
• Able to understand written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial tasks in a professional manner to reflect the company’s integrity.
• cleans offices, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways and other areas to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Mops, sweeps, dusts furniture, fixtures and windows as requested by supervisor.
• Replenishes rest room supplies and handles waste disposal.
• Maintains safe, clean work areas and reports hazards promptly.
• Follows safety procedures and uses PPE per job requirements.
