Job summary

Owens Realty Services in Connecticut is hiring a part-time Day Porter to perform custodial work at our facility. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 40-hour week and a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

Duties include cleaning offices, restrooms, hallways and common areas, restocking supplies, removing trash, and reporting safety hazards. Must understand written and verbal English; six months of related experience preferred; High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to apply common sense understanding to follow instructions provided.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial tasks in a professional manner.
• Cleans offices, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas.
• Mops and sweeps as needed and dusts furniture and fixtures.
• Empties trash, restocks restroom supplies, and maintains cleanliness of fixtures.
• Keeps cleaning carts secure and reports safety hazards to supervisor.
• Follows PPE and safety procedures and reports any concerns.
