Job summary

Oneida Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join our care team in southwest Tennessee. You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and contribute to a home-like environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, personal hygiene, recording intake and vital signs, and collaborating with nurses to ensure high-quality care while adhering to federal, state, and local requirements.

• Assist with daily living activities, including delivering meals to patients, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals
• Help patients with personal hygiene
• Observe patients' conditions, measuring and recording food and liquid intake and output and vital signs, and report changes to the charge/staff nurse as soon as possible
• Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos and showersProvide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings and therapeutic baths
• Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart
• Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhere to professional standards, follow the policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.
