Job summary

The custodian will perform interior and exterior cleaning, empty trash, sterilize restrooms, assist with cafeteria cleanliness, and support with preventive maintenance. Travel to nearby schools may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate; janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and training.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas: interior – hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, multipurpose room; exterior – building perimeter and parking lot.
• Empty trash from all receptacles and dust surfaces, vents and windowsills.
• Clean and sterilize restrooms; remove waste in cafeterias; assist with cafeteria cleanliness.
• Support with cleaning projects and preventive maintenance; travel may be required to nearby locations.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures; report emergencies and stay on site during shifts.
