Job summary

Brio Living Services in Niles, MI is hiring a Home Care CNA for a full-time role with an 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. schedule, Monday through Friday, serving participants enrolled in the PACE program.

You will provide essential in-home care, assist with ADLs, monitor health, support daily living activities, and collaborate with the Home Care Supervisor to deliver compassionate, person-centered care. The position requires a valid Michigan driver’s license, prior frail/elderly care experience, and CNA

Qualifications

• One year of prior experience with frail or elderly individuals.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• CNA certification, preferred.
• Completion of the Participant Care Assistant (PCA) program at PACE of Southwest Michigan or an equivalent training program if not a Certified Nurse Assistant.
• Current CPR or BLS certification or willing to obtain.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and operate as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide Hands-On Care in Their Home – Assist with personal care (ADLs) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support Mealtime – Help participants enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
• Keep Things Moving – Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Perform Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Maintain Comfort & Care – Support housekeeping tasks such as laundry, sweeping, and grocery shopping.
• Provide Responsive Support – Handle cares and respond with kindness and compassion.
• Monitor with Watchful Eyes – Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
• Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
