Job summary

Michaels seeks a customer-focused associate to help shoppers, locate products, and provide solutions in a fast, friendly checkout environment. You will engage customers in the Rewards program and enroll them, while supporting Omni channel processes and store maintenance.

The role includes standing for long periods, stocking, and assisting with framing services as needed, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer care.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing and move around the store.
• Experience handling cash and operating a POS system.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Maintain in-stock store and perform stock/planogram duties.
