Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store position in Palm Springs, CA. You will deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining planograms to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

The role involves omnichannel tasks like BOPIS and SFS, plus adherence to SOPs and safety programs. Retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Benefits of Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain well-merchandised and in-stock store; complete merchandise recovery and go-back processes.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
