Job summary

Michaels Stores in Texas seeks a team member to assist customers, help locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You’ll unload trucks, stock shelves, manage planograms, and support omni‑channel processes like BOPIS and SFS, while upholding store recovery, safety, and SOPs.

Must be ready for a dynamic, customer‑facing role in a busy retail environment. The ideal candidate has retail or customer service experience, is comfortable standing for long periods, and can engage customers

Qualifications

Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on the rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
Educate customers on VOC surveys and Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
Maintain store recovery, in‑stock conditions, and participate in SISO/AD set duties.
Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and store policies.
Interact positively with customers and team members; cross‑train in framing sales.
