Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate at our Queens-Woodside, NY location. You will help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-store presentation to support our Brand Promises. The role involves assisting with omnichannel processes (BOPIS/SFS), enrollments in Rewards programs, and adherence to SOPs, safety, and loss prevention programs.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program enrollments.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain planograms.
• Support store recovery, safety programs, and SOP compliance.
