Job summary

Michaels is hiring for store team members to assist customers, handle checkout, and participate in stocking and merchandising duties. You will help customers find products, enroll shoppers in the Rewards program, and support Buy Online Pick Up In Store and Ship From Store processes.

Applicants should have retail or customer service experience, be able to stand for long periods, and uphold store standards. Benefits include discounts and flexible scheduling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain in-stock and well-merchandised store; complete returns/go backs.
• Support store shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; project a positive image and be a role model.
