Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond’s Midlothian Family YMCA is seeking part-time lifeguards to help save lives and ensure pool safety. Openings include 4:45am-9am shifts; paid $15-$17 per hour. We will certify you if you qualify, or train you if needed.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old and hold CPR, AED, and First Aid with ARC or Ellis Lifeguard certification. The Y offers training for motivated individuals who meet basic swim requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Current CPR, AED, First Aid and either American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification are required.
• The YMCA will train interested candidates who meet basic swim requirements if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of pool patrons and participants during the shift.
