Job summary

The Midlothian Family YMCA is seeking a part-time lifeguard to help save lives and ensure pool safety for patrons. We welcome certified lifeguards or swimmers willing to become lifeguards (training provided if qualified). Shifts run 9am-1pm and 1pm-5pm, with pay ranging from $15-$17 per hour.

Candidates must be at least 15 years old and hold CPR, AED, First Aid and either ARC or Ellis Lifeguard certification. Oxygen administration is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old with current CPR, AED, First Aid and lifeguard certification (ARC or Ellis).
• Oxygen Administration (O2) preferred but not required.
• The Y will train interested candidates who meet basic swim requirements if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of members and program participants at the pool.
