Our client is seeking a Level 3 Data Center Operations Technician to support a large-scale, enterprise data center environment. This role is ideal for experienced technicians who thrive in mission-critical environments and enjoy hands‑on hardware troubleshooting. The position begins with a structured day shift training period and transitions to a required night shift schedule, with strong potential for full‑time conversion. You will play a key role in maintaining high‑availability infrastructure, responding to operational incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform advanced server hardware troubleshooting and break/fix support
- Diagnose and replace components including CPUs, GPUs, memory, power supplies, and networking hardware
- Support rack and stack activities, hardware installations, and structured cabling
- Respond to infrastructure tickets and operational incidents in a timely manner
- Maintain compliance with data center operational and safety standards
- Collaborate within a fast‑paced, high‑availability environment
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience in a data center environment OR strong hands‑on IT infrastructure support experience
- Server hardware troubleshooting and break/fix experience
- Familiarity with enterprise hardware components (CPUs, GPUs, operating systems)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, high‑urgency environment
- Willingness to transition to night shift after training (required)
- Experience in enterprise or hyperscale data centers (preferred)
- CompTIA A+ certification (preferred)
- Security+ or Network+ certification (preferred)
- Military technical background (preferred)
