Job summary

Premier Inn Hotels LLC (UAE) is seeking a Level 3 Data Center Technician to join our Denver, CO team on a long-term contract with strong potential for permanent employment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in enterprise or hyperscale data centers, performing advanced hardware troubleshooting, leading infrastructure deployments, and guiding junior technicians.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise or hyperscale data center environments.
  • Strong experience with Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS, Lenovo, or Supermicro server platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of server hardware, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
  • Experience with structured copper and fiber optic cabling.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for server hardware, networking, and infrastructure issues.
  • Experience supporting hardware refresh, migration, and deployment projects.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ticketing platforms.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and data center best practices.
  • Ability to read rack elevations, cable layouts, and infrastructure documentation.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding data center environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server, storage, and network hardware.
  • Rack, stack, cable, and deploy enterprise infrastructure equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware failures and perform break/fix activities.
  • Execute IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) requests and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Install, terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot copper and fiber optic cabling.
  • Support server refresh, hardware lifecycle management, migrations, and decommissioning projects.
  • Perform firmware, BIOS, and hardware upgrades following change management procedures.
  • Coordinate with remote engineering, networking, and infrastructure teams during maintenance windows.
  • Provide Smart Hands and Remote Hands support for enterprise customers.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory, asset tracking, and documentation.
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance, after-hours support, and emergency response activities.
  • Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians and provide technical guidance during deployments and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with data center operational standards, safety procedures, and best practices.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Data Center Technician to join our team in Denver, CO. This is a long-term contract opportunity with strong potential for permanent employment. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience supporting enterprise or hyperscale data center environments, performing advanced hardware troubleshooting, leading infrastructure deployments, and providing technical guidance to junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server, storage, and network hardware.

Requirements
Required Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise or hyperscale data center environments.

Strong experience with Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS, Lenovo, or Supermicro server platforms.

Advanced knowledge of server hardware, storage systems, and network infrastructure.

Experience with structured copper and fiber optic cabling.

Experience leading infrastructure deployments and mentoring junior technicians.

CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, Cisco CCNA, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent certifications.
