Job summary

Akkodis seeks an experienced L3 Data Center Technician to support data center operations in San Jose. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, physical installation work, and collaboration with network and systems teams in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in a data center environment, strong Linux command experience, and excellent communication skills. You will work onsite 100% in a physically demanding environment, following NVIDIA and Akkodis standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• 2-3 years exp. as a technical lead with ability to supervise people.
• Serve as initial contact between Akkodis team members and NVIDIA management.
• Prioritize and manage workload across the team.
• Review build documentation and validate questions/concerns.
• Direct build activities related to DC Ops.
• Escalation point for L1 & L2 teams.
• Designate training paths in line with NVIDIA standards.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolve tickets.
• Ensure projects meet NVIDIA DC standards.
• Coordinate activities with other teams for project builds and escalations.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a data center environment
• Experience with various types of cables and connectors
• Basic experience with Linux commands
• Understanding of basic safety and security protocols
• Ability to work onsite 100% of the time in a physically demanding environment

Job Responsibilities

• 2-3 years exp. of proven experience as a technical lead and with the ability for people supervision
• Initial Contact/Liaison between Akkodis team members and NVIDIA management

• Direct build activities related to DC Ops

• Designate predetermined training path in line with NVIDIA standards
• Provide advanced troubleshooting support and resolution of tickets
• Ensure projects are aligned to NVIDIA DC standards
• Serving as point of contact for Akkodis and NVIDIA
• Coordinate activities with other teams as needed for project builds and escalations
