Job summary

Oracle is seeking an IC2-level on-site Hardware Technician to perform end-to-end hardware installation and troubleshooting with limited supervision. This role will validate cabling and ensure error-free connections while supporting the datacenter environment.

Responsibilities

• On-site hardware installation, removing and troubleshooting hardware without disturbing critical infrastructure, with limited supervision.
• Replaces server components and upgrades servers for existing customer base, with supervision.
• Implements designed and defined network communications and solutions, including cabling and networking equipment, following general guidance, and providing coaching and mentoring to peers.
• Validates cabling, checking network environment build and connectivity is established, scripting to verify devices are connected and free from transmission errors, link errors, and bottlenecks, and problem solving to establish error free connections with limited guidance
