Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking a senior procurement and sourcing leader to own multi-year strategies for datacenter equipment and construction. You will partner with construction, design, and development teams from site selection through procurement and handover, ensuring schedules align with critical paths.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across end-to-end supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or category management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Owned multi-year category strategies for complex, high-spend, supply-constrained areas.
• Recognized as a lead negotiator who closes critical contracts.
• Set governance standards adopted by organizations.
• 3+ years of informal or indirect team leadership across functions.
• Ability to brief and persuade executives and build sound business cases.
• Fluent in data usage to model risk and validate decisions.
• Able to operate in ambiguity and tight schedules in a constrained market.
• Collaborated with construction teams (GCs, engineers, trades) extensively.
• Led construction contracting and contract administration across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year sourcing and category strategy for datacenter equipment and construction.
• Partner with Construction, Design, and Development teams from site selection through procurement and handover.
• Own procurement of long-lead infrastructure equipment and sequence awards to protect critical path.
• Lead contracting strategy for construction delivery with GC/EPC and design firms.
• Serve as lead negotiator on high-value contracts and master agreements with Legal.
• Own owner-furnished equipment strategy and manage related logistics and warranties.
• Drive change order discipline and assess claims against business case impacts.
• Identify long-term cost reduction opportunities across categories and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Build partnerships with OEMs, contractors, and trades to secure capacity and innovation.
• Negotiate delivery commitments, milestones, and SLAs; oversee governance and escalation.
