Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud is seeking a Finance partner for the DC / Infrastructure Finance team to align equipment purchasing with capital spending and cash forecasts. You will connect procurement, delivery, and deployment needs to forecasts, helping Lambda secure capacity while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, supply chain finance, procurement finance, hardware finance, or related analytical role.
• Experience forecasting equipment or inventory spending and analyzing supplier costs.
• Understanding PO, deposits, receipts, supplier payment terms, and inventory movements on capital spending.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; SQL proficiency; ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Own equipment capital planning including forecasts across GPUs, servers, networking, storage, and spares.
• Translate procurement quantities and costs into spending forecasts and deployment cost plans.
• Track costs and commitments against budgets; explain changes in price, quantity, and delivery timing.
• Own in-service timing and depreciation forecasts by asset class, site, and deployment.
• Reconcile depreciation to fixed asset registers and explain changes due to timing and life.
• Analyze supplier quotes, BOMs, and total landed costs for sourcing negotiations.
• Model financial impact of supplier options, terms, and cost changes.
• Own commitments data across equipment and construction spend; connect POs, receipts, invoices, and payments.
• Maintain visibility into open POs, deposits, prepayments, and remaining spending.
• Assess cash implications of order changes, delays, and expediting.
• Partner with Supply Chain to track inventory exposure and obsolescence risk.
• Develop inputs for annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis for Treasury and capital markets on equipment funding.
