12-month contract for a Datacenter Site Logistics Coordinator in Reno, NV

Job Description:
We are looking to add an additional site logistics contractor to support our data centers. This role is 40 hours, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with key responsibilities listed below:
- Receives deliveries in data center - Physically & Systematically
- Ensuring Materials are secured and stored accordingly at time of delivery
- Expediting shipments or physical material verification Ad-hoc through warehouses
- Maintain and organize storage areas
- Pull, Prep, and coordinated shipment of Materials for Movement to other sites/warehouses
- Support and appropriately elevate emergent DC Ops material requests, and other misc. urgent matters
Inventory Accuracy Activities:
- Weekly Inventory Scans (Devices)
- Cycle Count (w/in the NGC Inventory as scheduled per ABC Analysis)
- Discrepancy onsite/warehouse deep dives
- Physical and systematic Return to Stock (RTS)
- RTS Rack Transactions
- Post-Project Unused Material RTS of unused materials.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in site logistics, warehouse operations, data center logistics, or similar supply chain/logistics roles.
- Strong understanding of inventory control practices (e.g., cycle counting, ABC analysis, RTS processes).
- Ability to safely handle, store, and move IT equipment and consumable materials in a data center or warehouse environment.
- Experience working with inventory management or warehouse management systems to perform receipts, moves, and adjustments.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, especially when performing inventory counts and resolving discrepancies.
- Proven ability to prioritize and respond to urgent requests in a fast-paced operations environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with operations, warehouse, and project teams.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials as required by data center and warehouse operations.
Tools and Technologies:
- Inventory management and/or warehouse management systems.
- Standard productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Handheld scanners or similar devices used for inventory scanning and tracking.
