Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara, CA, seeks a Principal System Power Management and Performance Architect to shape architecture across multiple silicon generations by turning ambiguous workload and platform constraints into robust, scalable power and performance solutions.

You will define multi-generation roadmaps for system-level power and performance features, own HSIO power management, DVFS, P-states, boot flows and low-power entry/exit strategies, and drive datacenter-scale power telemetry and policy

Qualifications

BS or MS in EE/CE, or equivalent experience proven through work.
15+ years of system architecture, development, and validation with focus on power and perf-per-watt in datacenter or HP platforms.
History of guiding architecture decisions across multiple silicon programs with case studies.
Extensive knowledge of HSIO power management, DVFS, P-states, boot flows, and low-power architectures.
Strong fundamentals in low-power design and rack-level performance architecture.

Responsibilities

Define a multi-generation roadmap for system-level power and performance features grounded in prototyping and cost-benefit trade-offs.
Own architecture and integration strategy for HSIO power, DVFS, P-states, and low-power features across product lines.
Lead system-level boot and IST architecture across complex multi-IP systems.
Drive power management strategy at datacenter scale, including rack-level telemetry and platform state coordination.
Identify and redesign system-level processes to meet new product requirements and architect next steps.
