Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a System Engineer for the HVDC datacenter product line. You will own system-level definition and provide application support for GaN power FETs and SR FETs used in datacenter power conversion.

This is a technical individual contributor role with direct customer engagement between GaN/Si design teams and hyperscaler/ODM engineers. You will develop models, write requirements, and collaborate across TI groups to ensure roadmaps meet customer and market needs while

Qualifications

• Experience with GaN/SR FETs in datacenter power applications.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical specifications.
• Proven model development and validation experience.

Responsibilities

• Characterize GaN FETs and SR FETs; translate results into metrics.
• Develop SPICE/SIMPLIS models and validate against silicon.
• Author reference designs and application notes for customers.
• Provide direct technical support to datacenter OEMs and designers.
• Identify gaps in device performance and write new requirements.
• Collaborate with TI teams to bring in new tech.
• Build evaluation platforms for LLC and phase‑shifted topologies.
