Job summary

Cboe Global Markets is hiring a Datacenter Engineer to support mission‑critical infrastructure at our Secaucus Data Center. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot datacenter hardware, cabling, and supporting systems, collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and NOC.

The role involves large‑scale MAC work, shift rotations, and on‑site responsibilities. This hands‑on position requires comfort in a high‑reliability environment, readiness for rotating shifts, and a strong ownership mindset

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of datacenter support experience including racking, cabling and troubleshooting in a colocation environment.
• Experience with MAC work and large-scale equipment installations/moves.
• Proficiency with copper/MMF/SMF cabling and industry testing tools.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, power, fire, and building security systems.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in datacenter environments for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain servers, network devices, storage, cabling and cross-connects.
• Perform structured cabling, testing, routing, labeling, and documentation.
• Execute daily MAC tasks including installs, moves and rack/cable upgrades.
• Monitor environmental factors and report issues to management and provider.
• Troubleshoot hardware, applications and connectivity with Engineering and NOC.
• Maintain inventories, rack elevations, cable maps and standards.
• Respond to datacenter incidents and support expansions and vendor coordination.
• Participate in on-call coverage and shift rotations.
