Job summary

Meta is seeking an Area Program Delivery Director to lead the DEC team responsible for a mega AI enabling data center campus. The role manages onsite staff and external partners in a matrix structure, delivering safety, quality, and predictable outcomes.

Responsibilities include setting strategic vision, managing owner/vendor relationships, coaching teams, and ensuring timely turnover and budget adherence. Located onsite in Madison, WI, with extensive cross-functional collaboration and a focus

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in project planning and construction management.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or an equivalent technical degree or work experience.
• Experience with a variety of construction contract delivery methods commonly used in the US and/or EMEA.
• Experience with the design and deployment of technical electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience managing direct employees, contractors, and vendor relationships.
• Greenfield site development and ground-up construction experience.
• Knowledge of local, state, domestic, and international codes and health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic vision for the project and site team and interface with internal and external teams.
• Own and model Meta values and foster partnership, teamwork and growth.
• Maintain visibility across multiple teams and external partners.
• Provide coaching and input to assure predictable delivery and project success.
• Coordinate stakeholder requirements for early turnover of phases.
• Maintain productive owner/vendor relationships with GCs, cabling partners, consultants, and trade partners.
• Negotiate contracts and change orders directly with contractors and vendors.
• Monitor KPI adherence and financial status of project delivery.
• Build cross-functional relationships to ensure collaboration and delivery excellence.
• Foster a safety-focused culture across all teams.
• Develop and recruit onsite staff and support matrix staff growth.
