Job summary

Colliers Project Leaders is seeking a Project Manager to join our Owner's Rep team overseeing large-scale datacenter construction across Ashburn, VA; Portland, OR; Atlanta, GA; and Miami, FL. You will coordinate with design managers, clients, consultants and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget, drawing on a background in architecture, engineering or construction.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and a proactive approach to risk and schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of project management experience.
• 2+ years of data center construction experience.
• General Contracting, Construction Management, Equipment Vendor or Architecture experience preferred.
• Extensive familiarity with construction scheduling, budgeting and cost controls.
• Working knowledge of MEP systems in data centers.
• Strong English reading/writing and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale construction projects ranging from site development to data center buildouts and fit-outs.
• Manage design and implementation of base building and tenant MEP systems.
• Establish and maintain relationships with general contractors, key subcontractors, equipment vendors and consultants.
• Review budgeting and scheduling deliverables for content and quality; evaluate job-related documentation against budgets and schedules.
• Lead budget and schedule review meetings with the construction team.
• Discuss objectives, requirements and budgets with clients, design staff and senior leadership.
• Create and maintain project budgets and schedules for multiple sites in various design/construction stages.
• Provide oversight and escalate issues on ongoing projects as needed.
• Perform site observations to ensure adherence to budget and schedule targets.
• Coordinate with consultants and government agencies for entitlements and permitting.
