Job summary

Confiz Limited in Denver, CO seeks two Databricks Architects to lead the data-layer design for enterprise AI use cases, owning the end-to-end architecture from data discovery to governed delivery and PII handling.

You will design platform patterns on Databricks (Delta Lake, medallion architecture, streaming and batch ingestion), define environment strategies, and ensure secure, auditable deployments aligned with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data architecture or data engineering
• 3+ years architecting Databricks production solutions
• Strong data modeling and SQL/Python (PySpark) skills
• Experience with DS governance, Unity Catalog, and data security design
• Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and IaC familiarity

Responsibilities

• Lead data-layer architecture for AI use cases on Databricks
• Define data models, pipelines, and patterns across Delta Lake and medallion architecture
• Own security design, Unity Catalog governance, and PII handling
• Collaborate with AI/BI engineers and stakeholders to ensure compliant data delivery
