Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a senior Data Engineer to lead Databricks data engineering and DataOps initiatives in the United States. You will design scalable pipelines, govern data products, and establish standards for CI/CD, testing, and observability while coordinating with architects, security, and stakeholders.

You will mentor engineers, deliver complex data solutions for clients, and help modernize data platforms with a focus on reliability, performance, and data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, PySpark, Python, SQL, Delta Lake.

Responsibilities

• Lead Databricks data engineering and DataOps across ingestion to consumption.
• Design scalable pipelines and governance, with data-quality controls.
• Mentor engineers and drive standardized runbooks and patterns.
• Communicate risks, dependencies, and delivery impacts to leadership.
