Job summary

EY is hiring a Manager in Model Engineering to lead AI/ML solutions on the Databricks platform. You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable data and AI pipelines, ensuring responsible deployment and measurable business outcomes.

You will guide a diverse group of scientists and engineers, translating business needs into product-focused AI capabilities while staying current with AI trends and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year).
• 6-10 years of AI, data science, and/or ML experience.
• 2-4 years of direct technical team management.
• 3-4 years building production AI/ML solutions on Databricks.
• Databricks certifications (1 pro and 1 associate).
• Strong Python, PySpark, or Scala skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading AI workstreams from design through production deployment on Databricks.
• Leading teams building data pipelines and AI solutions.
• Continuously improving processes through research and analysis.
• Managing multidisciplinary teams with accountability for quality and deployment.
• Engaging with clients and leading workstreams from planning to closure.
• Designing and governing ontologies and semantic models for business concepts.
