The Database Engineer Intermediate designs, analyzes, and modifies Electronic Health Record (EHR) software applications for the organization. Working under moderate supervision, the Database Engineer encodes, tests, debugs, and installs software modules to ensure the system runs smoothly and efficiently for users.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Analyze the implementation and design of organization databases to ensure they are user-friendly and secure.
2. Monitor database performance, scalability, and security to identify and resolve issues for optimal performance.
3. Evaluate existing database designs to ensure they meet organizational needs and improve the system.
4. Create data architectures for databases and data warehouses to ensure efficiency.
5. Review data migrations and conversions, consulting with senior management on troubleshooting complex data processing issues.
6. Research strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation aligned with organizational needs.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: 4 years
• Licensure/Certification: Platform-centric Certification obtained within 6 months; 12 months allowed if necessary.
