Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks a Database Engineer Level 3 with active TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph to lead database architecture and data integration initiatives in Annapolis. You will design robust relational and NoSQL data structures, supervise lifecycle from design through IOC, optimize performance, and ensure security and compliance across the program.

Experience: 10+ years; Oracle stack; Linux scripting; strong data loading and parsing tools; cloud storage methods.

Qualifications

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years as a Database Engineer on programs of similar scope.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 5 additional years substitution possible.
Database Administration: Hands-on with Oracle Database, OEM, and Data Guard.
OS & Scripting: Proficiency with Linux environments and Bash scripting.
Desired Skills: MongoDB or similar NoSQL platforms.

Responsibilities

Direct and lead development of database structures, schemas, parser tools, and loading software.
Manage lifecycle from inception through IOC, optimizing system performance.
Translate requirements into functional schemas and automate ad hoc queries and scripts.
Build modern cloud-enabled storage/retrieval approaches and data integration.
Balance trade-offs on scale, access controls, performance, and security.
