Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Database Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines across multiple platforms. You will work with analysts, application teams, and other engineers to deliver scalable data solutions that support analytics and operational apps.

The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS), and familiarity with Power Platform tools. You will maintain data models, security, and documentation while helping end-users adopt the systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering or related role with production ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or Azure SQL.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data quality.
• Strong SQL skills with advanced joins, CTEs, window functions, and tuning.
• Familiarity with Python for data processing and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve data pipelines and data platforms.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate data needs.
• Develop solutions using Power Platform including PowerApps and Power Automate.
• Ensure data quality and governance across environments.
• Monitor performance, backups, and security of databases.
• Maintain documentation and assist end-users.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
• Communicate clearly and meet deadlines.
