Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Database Engineer to design, build, and optimize databases and data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and business operations. You will develop views and front-end interfaces for users to update data and maintain processes across cloud environments.

You will work with data analysts, stakeholders, application teams, and other engineers to translate complex data requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL skills including joins, CTEs, window functions, and data modeling.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data quality.
• Familiarity with Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Git-based development and version control.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably Azure or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and improve data pipelines and data platforms that support analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with data analysts, stakeholders, application teams, and engineers to translate data requirements into scalable solutions.
• Develop solutions using Power Platform products including PowerApps, Power Automate, and Azure SQL.
• Ensure data quality and integrity; monitor security, backups, and DR plans.
