Job Description

Apex Systems, a global leader in IT solutions, seeks a Database Engineer with expertise in SQL and Oracle databases, SQL development, and experience with .NET web applications. Responsibilities include database development, performance tuning, design, analysis, and data architecture. Experience with ETL processes, PowerBI, and database administration with large data sets is required. Prior experience in regulated environments handling PII data is preferred.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain applications, including mainframe and client/server systems.
2. Proficient in MS SQL and Oracle database development.
3. Perform data modeling, analysis, tuning, and architecture functions.
4. Collaborate with teams to identify and implement database requirements.
5. Optimize database performance through query tuning and index management.
6. Support users and developers by resolving data-related issues.
7. Work within Agile development environments.
8. Exposure to .NET applications using C# and/or ASP.NET.
9. Experience with ETL tools like SSIS, Informatica, and BI tools like PowerBI.
