Job summary

Addison Group in Oklahoma City is seeking a Database Developer (SQL / SSIS) to design, build, and optimize database objects and ETL processes.

You will collaborate with technical Business Analysts and application developers, translate requirements into scalable solutions, ensure data integrity across diverse data sources including mainframe and flat files, and contribute to project migrations and enhancements.

On-site role with a salary range of $95,000–$105,000 DOE and a path for growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years of SQL Server development experience.
  • Strong T‑SQL skills for tables, views, indexes, and procedures.
  • Hands-on SSIS development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, create, and maintain database objects in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SSIS packages for ETL.
  • Ensure data integrity across ETL workflows.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand data requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable database solutions.
  • Troubleshoot data import, ETL, and performance issues.
  • Support ongoing projects including migrations and enhancements.
  • Document database structures and workflows.
  • Work with multiple data sources, including mainframe and flat files.
  • Contribute as part of a collaborative database development team.

Pay Rate Range

$95,000 – $105,000 year DOE

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, create, and maintain database tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SSIS packages for data import and transformation processes
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout ETL workflows
  • Collaborate closely with technical Business Analysts and application developers to understand data requirements
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical database solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data import, ETL, and database performance issues
  • Support ongoing project work including core system migrations and enhancements
  • Document database structures, workflows, and development processes
  • Work with multiple data sources, including mainframe and flat file formats
  • Act as a technical contributor within a collaborative database development team
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of SQL Server development experience
  • Strong proficiency with T‑SQL for developing tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures
  • Hands‑on experience developing and maintaining SSIS packages
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to take requirements, refine them, and translate them into effective technical solutions
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team‑based environment
