Job summary

RegEd is seeking a Database Administrator to own and resolve database incidents, monitor health, and support security and recovery across on‑prem and cloud environments. The role emphasizes collaboration with Architecture, QA, and Infrastructure to improve efficiency and reliability.

You will work in a remote or hybrid setting with flexible schedules, contributing to performance tuning, backups, restores, and ongoing modernization efforts within RegEd's RegTech platform.

Qualifications

3+ years in database administration or equivalent
Hands-on with Microsoft SQL Server 2016+
Strong T-SQL and complex queries
Experience with Azure SQL MI/DB/VM
Familiarity with SSIS/SSRS

Responsibilities

Own and resolve database incidents and requests.
Monitor backups, maintenance, and index health.
Ensure security and access controls across databases.
Support restore testing and recovery procedures.
Collaborate with Architecture and QA teams on changes.
Maintain database objects and schemas in on‑prem and cloud environments.
Refresh dev/test environments to support QA and development.
