Qualifications

• One year as a Database Administrator 1 (Commonwealth or equivalent Federal title).
• Six years IT experience with three years in database analysis/design/maintenance.
• Four years IT experience with three years in database analysis/design/maintenance + associate degree.
• Two years IT experience with bachelor’s degree in IT.

Responsibilities

• Database design and maintenance to improve stability, reliability, and performance.
• Analyze database issues and provide solutions to developers, users, and project teams.
• Track performance, space usage, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Develop data models, create complex queries, and support migration and QA.
• Manage assigned work, maintain project plans, and report progress to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and support database enhancements.
