Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on enterprise database administration and production support.
• Experience with two or more technologies: DB2, Sybase ASE, MongoDB.
• Administer, monitor, and maintain DB2, Sybase ASE, and/or MongoDB environments.
• Backup/recovery, monitoring, health checks, and user management.
• Troubleshoot performance and tuning.
• Database upgrades and migrations.
• Participate in database/data center migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Tier 1 incidents and assist in root cause analysis and documenting incidents, unresolved issues or security concerns.
• Participate in onsite/offshore discussions and execute onsite activities as per plan.
• Document methodologies and techniques to ensure knowledge sharing.
• Prepare environments for deployment, execute deployment plans, and support post-deployment testing.
• Support scheduled maintenance, emergency fixes, and system enhancements.
• Monitor system performance metrics, report deviations, and troubleshoot to ensure optimal performance.
